Cooks Finish Carpentry, located in the heart of Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking a motivated and reliable Delivery Driver / Shop Assistant to join our team. This position offers a unique blend of driving and shop assistance duties, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to immerse themselves in the carpentry and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a company vehicle, ensuring an excellent driving record is maintained.
Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites and suppliers.
Assist with various tasks around the shop, including organizing and maintaining equipment.
Provide support on job sites, assisting team members with carpentry and construction tasks.
This role is not solely driving; it encompasses a variety of responsibilities that support our operations and projects.
Requirements
Must possess a valid CA driver’s license, insurance, and have reliable transportation to the shop.
An excellent driving record is essential, as you will be entrusted with a company vehicle.
At least two years of experience in general carpentry required.
Eagerness to learn the trade and ambition to advance to an assistant carpenter position.
